In early 2019, Trammell Crow Company (TCC) purchased 60 acres of land on the east side of Highway 101 at Cochrane Road and DePaul Avenue. The Redwood Tech 101 business park on the southern 30 acres will feature 501,620 square feet of new speculative office and industrial space designed to attract businesses and industry that will complement Morgan Hill’s existing commerce base while enhancing the quality of life . The best-in-class facilities will feature generous amounts of glass and attractive design elements and materials. This commitment to design, lush landscaping and mature redwoods will create a signature development and greatly enhance aesthetics on the 101 corridor frontage through Morgan Hill. The northern 30-acre plan will be submitted later in 2021 and anticipates a mix of office, employment spaces and highway commercial uses per the existing zoning for the property.
Edith Ramirez, Assistant City Manager for Development Services, is pleased to announce the hiring of Matthew Mahood as the new Economic Development Director for the City of Morgan Hill, effective Monday, July 26, 2021.
