Scott’s Valley-based advanced power electronics manufacturer, Heron Power, will open their first large scale Factory One in Morgan Hill. The company plans to invest more than $100M into the 286,000 SF building located at 755 Jarvis, the prior warehouse distribution site of RNDC. Project completion and mass production of the Heron Link, a 5-megawatt medium-voltage power conversion system, is expected to take place late 2027. Factory One is expected to create 600 jobs and was made possible in part by the receipt of a California Competes Tax Credit in the amount of $26.4M.
