Over the next two years the City of Morgan Hill will update the current 2009 Downtown Specific Plan. The new plan, called the Greater Downtown Specific Plan, will extend the current Downtown boundaries north to Granada St., south to San Pedro Ave., and west to Galvan Park. This effort is funded by a Metropolitan Transportation Grant and focused on updates in four key areas: zoning density standards, affordable housing policy, parking management near Caltrain, station accessibility enhancement. Community outreach is underway and public feedback is valued and encouraged.
