Evan Kelly, a Morgan Hill resident and Chapman University graphic design student, has been selected as the winner of the City’s 120th Anniversary Logo Design Contest. Chosen by the Library, Culture, and Arts Commission, his design will represent Morgan Hill’s 120th anniversary, commemorating the City’s founding on November 10, 2026.
Kelly’s logo reflects Morgan Hill’s identity through elements such as El Toro Mountain, the downtown skyline, open-space colors, and a sun symbolizing growth and progress. The contest invited community-driven designs inspired by the City’s nature, heritage, and future.
The 120th anniversary will be celebrated through year-long events and campaigns, including the launch of Visit Morgan Hill’s Destination Guide, Morgan Hill Foodie Month, and the upcoming “My Love Letter to Morgan Hill” social media campaign encouraging residents to share creative tributes to the City. More events and ways to participate will follow throughout the year.
