On August 21, the City of Morgan Hill proudly sponsored the 2025 Content Emerging Artist Awards, hosted by SVCreates at CURA Contemporary. The event honored three outstanding artists—illustrator Hana Lock, street dancer Alice Hur, and ceramicist Abiam Alvarez—whose work was featured in Content Magazine’s Profiles issue and showcased through live performances and a pop-up gallery.
This year marked the first time the ceremony was held in South Santa Clara County, bringing together local leaders, artists, and community members. Highlights included a VIP reception with Santa Clara County Supervisor Sylvia Arenas presenting official commendations, awards given by mayors and arts leaders, and a lively evening of art, music, and food by Vèra Restaurant.
Thanks to the City’s sponsorship, the event provided $5,000 in cash awards and elevated the role of the arts in strengthening our community.
