A Playground for ALL

A Playground for ALL

The Morgan Hill Magical Bridge Playground is officially open for ALL. This is South County’s first all-inclusive recreational facility, specifically designed to address the needs of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, visual and auditory impairments, sensory challenges, medical fragility and those with cognitive, developmental and physical disabilities. The playground features a laser harp, 2 story treehouse and stage, slide mound, spin zone, swing zone, climbing area and water spray mister. Funding for the project was made possible through support from the City of Morgan Hill, Santa Clara County, Magical Bridge Foundation, Morgan Hill Community Foundation and numerous community organization and individual donors. Although construction is complete, funding for maintenance is still required to maintain the park in the future. The city has launched an endowment fund to begin planning for future Magical Bridge Playground maintenance. All funds that are donated and raised for the park will be routed to the Magical Bridge Playground Endowment Fund to ensure the playground provides joy to ALL, for many years to come.

Donations to support the Magical Bridge Playground can be made online at the City’s Magical Bridge project web page HERE.
